LUKE VAN DER BEEKE

FOUNDER MANAGING DIRECTOR

Luke is an internationally recognised expert in behaviour change marketing and communications, with almost 30 years’ experience delivering positive change in Australia and overseas. A former Director of The National Social Marketing Centre (UK), Luke has delivered behaviour change programs, training and advice in areas including non-communicable and infectious disease control, mental health, transport, disability services, family and domestic violence, suicide prevention, the environment, climate change, waste reduction, sustainable development, social welfare and public safety. He’s a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, and an Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University (Public Health) and Griffith University (Marketing). Luke is committed to reducing health inequalities and amplifying the voice of lived experience in policy and practice. 

CHRISTIE VAN DER BEEKE

FOUNDER DIRECTOR COMMUNICATIONS AND IMPACT

Christie is a communications and public relations professional with 25 years’ experience operating in senior roles in Australia and the United Kingdom. Her extensive experience encompasses strategic marketing, corporate communications, media management, community and industry engagement, public relations, brand development and event management. Christie is a trained facilitator with expertise in process improvements and organisational change, and believes in providing creative leadership to achieve organisational goals and integrated marketing solutions. She is a Certified Practising Marketer and is IAP2 certified.

DR BRIAN GORDON OAM

FOUNDER. NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.

Brian is a highly respected member of Australia’s community service sector having spent decades working in CEO and Board roles across health and social services. He was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2021 for service to the community. Brian founded Perth City Mission (which later became Mission Australia) and is a co-founder of the West Australian Governor’s Prayer Breakfast. He also established Foodbank in WA, and Yirra – a residential treatment facility for teenagers experiencing substance abuse. He has held Board roles at WACOSS, Opportunity International, Bendigo Bank, Meerilinga Children’s Foundation, Children International WA and Palmerston.

DONNA VAN BUEREN
DIRECTOR BEHAVIOURAL INSIGHTS

Donna is a highly regarded strategic advisor and practitioner, with over 20 years’ experience working with governments in Australia and overseas. She has an extensive record of consulting and delivering projects in behaviour change, citizen engagement and government communications capability across Australia, Singapore, the UAE and Saudi Arabia and, through collaboration, into developing countries. Donna’s subject areas of expertise are road safety, public health, culture and the arts, national identity and citizenship, unemployment and family violence. She has worked for more than a decade with behavioural theories and models of influence, and specialises in their application across both Western and Middle Eastern contexts and socio-demographic settings.

ALLISON GRAINGER

STRATEGIC INSIGHT LEAD

Allison is an experienced and passionate researcher, with more than 14 years in the market and social research industry, working across the public and private sectors, across all levels of government (national, state and local), as well as with NGOs and not for profit organisations.
Allison’s experience encompasses a broad range of techniques and topics, with particular expertise in public sector communications strategy development and execution, behaviour change research, community attitude tracking, community and consumer segmentation, stakeholder consultation and brand guidance research.
Allison’s research has informed the development of communications and programs on subjects including physical and mental health, education, alcohol and drugs, tourism and sustainability.

TESS DALTON

PROJECT OFFICER

Tess is an enthusiastic and dedicated research officer and project assistant with a health promotion background and a keen interest in social justice issues. As a graduate from an International Union for Health Promotion and Education accredited degree at Curtin University, she has experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating public health programs spanning mental health, sexual health, and planetary health.
